Laura Sodano (left) and Sam Backlar (right) of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey present singer-songwriter Glen Burtnik (center) with a commemorative plaque honoring him for 15 years of donations from his annual holiday benefit concert, which has supplied the FoodBank with over 5 tons of food. This year’s show also raised money for other charities including The American Red Cross (for recent hurricane victims) and the Central Jersey Spinal Cord Association. Additional food was contributed to New Brunswick’s own Elijah’s Promise “soup kitchen,” and donations of toys were collected by the James Paige Marine Corps League for their toy drive. She "has been" a Circus Trapeze Artist, a singer & dancer on Broadway, a member of the rock band "The Tubes," and back-up singer for Todd Rundgren. She has appeared many times on "The David Letterman Show" and on MTV. Michele's comedy encompasses life as a rock goddess (she names names!) and a liberal rock Mom.
